The second edition of the UG Hip-Hop Awards was held on Thursday (December 14, 2017) at the Golf Course Hotel in Kampala.
The UG Hip-Hop Awards 2017 brought together all stake-holders in the Ugandan Hip-Hop fraternity including artistes, producers, deejays and media personalities among others.
The winners in the various categories were announced and handed their accolades at the ceremony.
Among the winners were rappers Pryce Teeba for ‘Male Artist of the Year’ and Fasie for ‘Female Artist of the Year’. Rapper The Mith took home the award for ‘Song of the Year’ for his song ‘Burst a Shot’.
Upcoming rapper Lil-Rich was the winner of MTN Uganda’s ‘MTN Cypher’ competition after recording a video of himself rapping over the MTN Cypher Beat and sharing it on Social Media.
