Uganda Cranes on Sunday lost to Zambia in the in the opening Group B game of the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) which ended 3-1.
The game was played at the Stade Grande Marrakech in Morocco.
KCCA striker Derrick Nsibambi scored Uganda’s only goal in the 40th minute of the game, while Lazarus Kambole 38′, Augustine Mulenga 63′ and Fuckson Kapumbu 72′ scored for Zambia.
Zambia are now on top of Group B with three points. Namibia also have three points having beaten Ivory Coast earlier on Sunday.
Ivory Coast and Uganda are in positions third and fourth in Group B respectively.
