President Yoweri Museveni has said he loves US President Donald Trump who he described at “One of America’s best presidents ever”.

Museveni made the remarks while addressing a special sitting of the East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA), in Kampala on Tuesday.

“America has got one of the best Presidents ever. I love Trump. He tells Africans frankly. I don’t know if he is misquoted but I like him. Africans need to solve their problems, they need to be strong,” Museveni said.

“In the world you cannot solve problems if you are weak. Africa is a large continent with a lot of resources and the population is growing. Why can’t we make Africa strong?” he added.

In his address, Museveni put emphasis on the need for Africa’s Integration.

“For Africa to be strong, we need integration so that we can be able to survive and act together. Integration is about strategic security, fraternity, and prosperity,” Museveni noted.
