President Museveni’s elite force, the Special Forces Command (SFC) has been deployed at Kiseka Market in the Capital Kampala as protests demanding the release of snger Bobi Wine continue to spread across the city.
Protests which started earlier in the morning from Kampala’s outskirts became serious after traders in Kiseka lit fires in the middle of the road, blocking traffic.
The protests spread to Wandegeya where they were joined by students from Makerere University.
By publication time, although Kiseka market has cooled down, tear gas was being fired in Wandegeya where the protests have intensified.
