Veteran Ugandan RnB singer and dancer Michael Ross has spoken out on the incident where he was thrown off stage during American soul singer Ginuwine’s performance at the Soul & RnB Safari concert held at Speke Resort Munyonyo on Saturday.
The “Yooyo” hit maker stepped on stage uninvited and started break-dancing before angry bouncers threw him off.
The video of the incident would go viral on Social Media on Sunday causing mixed reactions.
Well as some people laughed at and mocked Michael Ross, others condemned the manner in which he was handled, arguing that there could have been a more respectful way to get him off the stage.
Speaking about the incident via Instagram, Michael Ross said he had no business being on the stage and had no intentions to disrupt the show but only got carried away when Ginuwine was performing the song “Pony”, which he (Michael Ross) says is his favorite.
Michael Ross apologized to Ginuwine, the concert organizers and his fans about the Saturday incident.

It will be remembered that in an earlier Social Media post before the concert, Micheal Ross revealed that he was inspired by and looked up to Ginuwine while growing up, adding that Ginuwine’s songs “Pony”, “What’s So Different”, “So Anxious” and “Tell Me” were his favorite, a reason why he could have been carried away and ended up on the stage at the show.
