Miss Uganda Abenakyo Returns Home After Historic Performance at Miss World Pageant

Miss Uganda 2018 Quiin Abenakyo has returned to Uganda from the just concluded 68th Miss World pageant in China

Abenakyo was the name on every Ugandan’s lips when she was crowned Miss World Africa and finished second runner-up at the Miss World Pageant.

She touched down at Entebbe Airport at around 1:30PM was accorded a heroic welcome by officials from Uganda Tourism Board, Miss Uganda, friends, family members and the media.

Abenakyo was the first Miss Uganda to make it to the top 5 finalists.

The 68th Miss World title however went to Mexico’s Vanessa Ponce de Leon and Thailand’s Nicolene Limsnukan was first runner up.

Abenakyo was the second runner up with Belarus’ Maria Vasilevich in fourth place while Jamaica’s Kadija Robinson is in position number five.
