In light of the outbreak of the Corona Virus, Hariss International Limited the manufacturers of the RIHAM products have taken the initiative to contribute to the COVID-19 National Response Team led by the Ministry of Health to combat the challenges faced in the fight against the virus.

Hariss International has contributed a fully equipped Ambulance, One Hundred Million Uganda Shillings (UGX 100 million), and 100 boxes of Water and Biscuits towards this cause.

Uganda like many nations across the world has been pulling resources and amalgamating strategies with various institutional stakeholders to ensure that the country builds an impactful shield against the growth of the virus.

“As Hariss International we pride ourselves in our active responsiveness towards our communities’ needs. Our community is at the core of who we are and what we do. Thus, it’s during such times that we have a responsibility to stand and support the people who have contributed to who we are today. We strongly recognize that this fight is not an individual effort. It is important that we join hands to assist the Government in the fight against COVID 19. We applaud all companies and individuals who have taken initiative to do the same,” said Mr. Yasser K. Ahmed, the Chairman Hariss International Limited.

“We will continue to serve you through this sensitive time and pledge to adhere to providing a safe working environment for our staff and delivering the utmost quality in both our product and service delivery,” he added.

Riham’s generous donation towards the fight against COVID-19 comes after President Yoweri Museveni and the Ministry of Health highlighted some of the challenges faced which include limited fast response transportation i.e. ambulances, test kits, food etc.
