Security forces have Tuesday morning sealed off Kisekka market in Kampala blocking wholesale traders, mechanics and other traders.
This comes hours after President Museveni’s National address on Monday night where he eased the lockdown allowing a section of workers to go back to work.
In his address, Museveni said mechanics, wholesale traders and people running hardware shops could resume work as long as they observe guidelines put up by the Ministry of Health to control the spread of the Covid19 pandemic in the country.
Lawyers, repair workshops, garages, metal & wood workshops are among the other services that were allowed to operate.
But despite the directive, security officers ring fenced Kisekka market with yellow tapes, disallowing anyone to access it.
Police is yet to issue a statement on the same.
