South Sudan: Foreign Affairs Ministry Condoles with Family of Late Ajang

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has paid tribute to fallen diplomat Amb. Bior Ajang who suddenly passed on on August 13, 2024 at his residence in Juba.

John Samuel Bugo, the Undersecretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said on Wednesday that the late Ajang will be dearly missed by his comrades, colleagues and the entire nation.

“The ministry sent its heartfelt condolences to the children of late ambassador Ajang, his immediate family, friends and entire community of Twic East where he was a chairperson until his passing on,” said Bugo during press conference in Juba.

Ajang died of cardiac arrest also known as sudden cardiac arrest, is when the heart stops beating suddenly.

Bugo revealed that the late Ajang was appointed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in 2016 at the level of the Undersecretary after long service in the liberation struggle.

 Ajang was born on January 1, 1947 in the then Kongor district of Jonglei state.

 He once served as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense and Veteran Affairs.
