Desire Luzinda Returns Home Ahead Of Wedding To Levixone

Renowned US-based musician Desire Luzinda received a warm welcome at Entebbe International Airport last evening as she touched down in Uganda ahead of her highly anticipated wedding to celebrated gospel artist Levixone.

Greeted with flowers and cheers, Luzinda was all smiles as she reunited with her fiancé, who personally picked her up from the airport. The couple, both dressed modestly but elegantly, embraced amid flashing cameras and an excited crowd, signaling the countdown to what many are calling “the wedding of the year.”

Speaking to journalists shortly after her arrival, Luzinda addressed the wave of online commentary and criticism that has followed her public announcement of the union.

“Sometimes I see the criticism, but it’s the price you pay when you’re a public figure,” she said. “We’ve been in the limelight for over a decade, and they’ve said it all, there’s nothing new. So it doesn’t shake me. It’s just background noise.”

She emphasized the authenticity of her relationship with Levixone, whom she described as “the one God chose” for her.

“We started as friends. He understands me. He was made for me, and he’s affirmed that in his life, things are better with me in it. I’m taking on his name officially,” Luzinda added.

The wedding is slated to take place on August 15, 2025, and is expected to be a deeply spiritual ceremony attended by close friends, family, fellow artists, and key figures from the gospel community.

While she remained tight-lipped about the details of the proposal, Luzinda revealed it was “the perfect place” chosen by Levixone, a moment she described as one that will leave “a remarkable mark” on her life.

Their relationship, once shrouded in mystery, has now taken center stage. In the past, both artists carefully managed the public narrative, with Luzinda recently shutting down rumors of a secret traditional ceremony. She clarified that previously circulated photos of her in traditional attire were part of a fabric campaign, not an engagement function.

Despite challenges and delays, including financial constraints that Levixone previously cited, the couple has remained united and unwavering in their faith and affection.

As Uganda prepares to witness a union built on friendship, faith, and resilience, all eyes remain on August 15, when Desire Luzinda and Levixone will finally say “I do.”
