Kitara FC Seals UGX 100M Shirt Sponsorship Deal

Uganda Premier League outfit Kitara Football Club has unveiled a UGX 100 million shirt sponsorship agreement with Kinyara Sugar Ltd, marking a major milestone for the Hoima-based side.

The deal follows the conclusion of Kitara’s previous two-year, Shs200 million partnership with Jonard Conglomerate Investment Limited (JCIL), which was signed in 2023.

Under the new arrangement, Kinyara Sugar’s branding will appear prominently on Kitara’s training gear and matchday jerseys, boosting the company’s visibility in both the Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup competitions.

The sponsorship further covers advertising rights at all Kitara home fixtures, co-branded press conferences, and expanded fan engagement initiatives across the region.

Kitara FC Chief Executive Officer, Atugonza Joshua, lauded Kinyara Sugar’s consistent backing since the 2023/24 campaign—a support he said was instrumental in the club’s Stanbic Uganda Cup success.

“This partnership not only secures our financial footing but also strengthens our bond with supporters and the wider community,” Atugonza noted.

After opening their league campaign with a 1–1 draw against KCCA in Hoima, Kitara are set to face Vipers this Saturday at Namboole Stadium.
