“It’s absolutely incredible. Being a first timer, I must admit that I feel incredibly honored,” he remarks when asked about his emotions regarding having the top song in Uganda. His appreciation for the achievement is unmistakable, and his enthusiasm for creating music and evolving as both an artist and music executive is evident.

During his elementary school years, he began his musical journey by taking on the role of choir leader. He was inspired early on by artists such as Mwozey Radio, Nameless, Nyashinski, Madoxx Ssemanda Ssematimba, and various other songs that motivated him along the way.

Looking ahead to the future, Bash Luks is strategically focused on collaborations and has plans to expand his musical horizons by exploring new avenues. “I definitely want to engage in more international collaborations with artists whose music resonates with me,” he expresses. His extensive list of artists and producers he aspires to work with includes Ayra Starr, Nahreel, Bruce Melodie, P2J, Sanaipei Tande, and Ali Kiba.

Bash Luks’ success has garnered attention both locally and internationally, with fans eagerly awaiting his upcoming music. “I am currently working on my album, set to release within 2025, featuring some renowned artists,” he reveals. “Additionally, I am collaborating with other artists on new projects. It promises to be an exciting year those who appreciate my music.”

In addition, over the next five years, “my objective is to establish myself as a highly recognized music executive in Uganda, garnering a substantial fan base and achieving widespread fame through the creation of hit songs that rapidly gain popularity on platforms such as YouTube and various social media channels, amassing millions of views. Throughout my illustrious career, I aim to attain numerous prestigious awards and a multitude of esteemed accolades, solidifying my reputation in the industry,” the artist said.
