Richard Patrick Byarugaba, the Managing Director of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has been unveiled as the Chief Runner for the next PRAU Monthly Run to be held on Friday March 24th 2017.
In what seems to be an exciting opportunity for PR professionals to keep in shape despite their busy schedules, this run will provide an opportunity for the seasoned business executive, banker, and entrepreneur to show the PRAU members a clean pair of heels.
In their second event of the year the PRAU members will don their running kits sponsored by Coca-Cola and engage in physical activities in an effort to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
“The PRAU monthly runs are always special to our members given the type guests we get to run with, that is successful, inspirational and high performing Ugandans. This month it even gets more special as Richard Byarugaba is set to join us; he is a distinguished executive who is commended with a notable career in the banking and pensions areas” said Cynthia Mpanga, President of PRAU.
The PRAU monthly run continues with its long tradition of instilling a sense of work life – balance while also meeting and interacting with Uganda’s top professionals. Flavia Tumusiime, Robert Kabushenga and Stephen Kiprotich have been involved as chief guests in the past.
“I can confidently assure the PRAU members of my fitness; I will be fresh from the second edition of the NSSF Kampala Hash Seven Hills Run and therefore will still be fit and rearing to go. I am also looking forward to sharing guidance with the communicators on what it takes to succeed without sacrificing your health” said Richard Patrick Byarugaba when asked about his readiness.
The PRAU monthly run will start off at Lugogo Indoor Stadium at 5.30pm. Warm up and stretching drills will be conducted before the official run commences at 6.00pm.
