Bobi Wine Successfully Nominated for Kyadondo East MP Seat

Musician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu better known by his stage name, Bobi Wine, has been successfully nominated for the Kyadondo East Mp Seat.

The singer in the company of his wife Barbie and crowd of supporters arrived at Kasangati Saza grounds at around 9:00Am on Wednesday 31st May 2017, where he was successfully nominated for the tight race.

It will be remembered that in July 2016, High Court in Kampala kicked FDC’s Apollo Kantinti out of Parliament after it discovered non-compliance with election rules during the February 18 parliamentary elections in Kyadondo East constituency.

The Electoral Commission (EC) recently set June 26 2017 as the polling date for the Kyadondo East by-elections in Wakiso District.
