President Yoweri Museveni has met a delegation of security officers at State House, Entebbe led by the Inspector General of Police, Gen. Kale Kayihura.
The delegation from the districts of Kampala, Masaka, Lwengo, Mpigi, Wakiso and Lyantonde, comprised Police leadership, Resident District Commissioners, Regional Police Commanders and Deputy Police Commanders, among others.
The President and the officers reviewed the progress of the security situation in the region.
This follows the circulation of anonymous threatening letters that were followed by incidents of murder and robberies. They also laid strategies to find a lasting solution to the incidents.
