Popular South Sudan singer Mabor Abud Mathiang, known by his stage name Emma 47, was Monday killed in an ambush along the Juba-Nimule Road.
Emma 47 was headed for Nimule from Juba, the capital of the world’s youngest and volatile nation.
The car Emma 47 and others were travelling in was attacked by gunmen Monday morning at Aswa River, South of Loa, on Nimule-Juba road.
The injured were taken to Nimule Hospital for medical attention.
