Ugandans musicians have joined efforts to raise funds for the medical bills of fast-rising producer, Danz Kumapeesa, who is currently hospitalized at Nsambya Hospital in Kampala.
Danz Kumapesa was recently attacked by unknown thugs, who beat him up severely and stole his property.
This website understands that he is required to pay Shs 500,000 for treatment per night and the bill is now standing at Shs 10 million.
According to singer Dokta Brain, a car wash fundraiser has been organized to raise funds for the producer’s treatment. The car wash fundraiser will be held at Panamera Bar on Saturday July 1st 2017.
“I call upon all fellow musicians, fans and the general public to come and contribute to this cause,” Dokta Brain said.
“Cars will be washed at Shs 50,000 and bikes at Shs 30,000. Financial contributions will also be appreciated,” he added.
In a related development, The Tower Post has learnt that singer Rema Namakula has already made a generous contribution of Shs 4million towards Danz Kumapeesa’s treatment.
Danz Kumapeesa is the producer behind hit songs like Winnie Nwagi’s “Musawo”, “You’re Sweet” by Rema and “Mbozi Za Malwa” by Bebe Cool and Sauti Sol among others.
