Telecommunications company Airtel Uganda has Friday rewarded the second batch of winners in its Mega Masappe promotion with four motorcycles and a car.
Two of the lucky winners who included Xuqing Qingmu from Fort Portal and Baliluno Nsubuga Robert from Nansana walked away with motorcycles while Shaban Kyeswa from Bulenga won the grand weekly prize of a motor vehicle.
Speaking at the prize giving event at held at NBS TV basement, Rajesh Agarwal the Airtel Networks Director expressed gratitude to the winners and encouraged all the Airtel users to participate in the promotion.
“We are always excited to see our customers in a celebratory mood, our customers loyalty is crucial to our business operations that’s why it’s very important for us to give back to them through promotions.”
Earlier this week, the first set of winners in the promotion were six, they took home 3million shillings and 3 motor bikes.
“This is just the beginning there are more prizes to be won. The campaign is not only for people in Kampala but all over Uganda as you have witnessed to day with some of the winners from Fort portal and Hoima”
As part of the Mega Masappe , subscribers are required to opt into the promo by dialing *162# and select option 1to opt in, option 2 to check target and option 3 to redeem their data bonus which will be broken down into voice sms and data at 50%, 10% and 40% respectively.
“Mega Masappe promotion subscriber bonus will be given instantly on the achievement of the daily target for example ,if a subscriber’s bonus target is SHS 1000 and they recharge they will receive 100% bonus of the same value under voice, sms and data split.”
