Nakawa MP Michael Kabaziguruka has Sunday morning been involved in an accident along Jinja Road.
MP Kabaziguruka was driving an ambulance he donated to his constituency.
The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) bigwig was yet to hire a driver for the ambulance.
Kabaziguruka was responding to an emergency from the Officer in Charge of Mutungo Police Post.
The ambulance collided with a truck around UMA Show Grounds.
Philemon Cula, the MP’s personal assistant said his boss has sustained serious injuries in his right leg.
Cula described the accident as ‘bad’ but ‘not nasty’.
Sources within FDC said the vocal MP, currently admitted at Kololo Hospital, was now out of danger.
The party was yet to issue a statement by publication time.
