Uganda Loses to Egypt in 2018 World Cup Qualifiers Second Leg Game

The Uganda Cranes lost to the Egyptian Pharaohs 1-0 in the second leg game of the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers played at the Borg El Arab stadium in Alexanderia on Tuesday evening.

Liverpool FC winger Mohamed Salah scored Egypt’s only goal 6 minutes into the game, earning the team 3 points.

With 9 points now, Egypt returns to the top of Africa’s Group E in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers while Uganda takes the second place with 7 points.

Uganda Cranes shall host Ghana on 8th October 2017 in Kampala and later play with Congo.

The winner in Group E will qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
