Sad news reaching us indicates that JahLive Studios producer Danz Kumapeesa has died.

Danz Kumapeesa is the producer behind hit songs like Winnie Nwagi’s “Musawo”, “You’re Sweet” by Rema and “Mbozi Za Malwa” by Bebe Cool and Sauti Sol among others.

The producer breathed his last on Saturday morning at St Francis Hospital Nsambya where he was admitted in June this year after being beaten up by unknown thugs.

Fellow producers, musicians, fans and good Samaritans made financial contributions to raise funds for the producer’s treatment.

A car wash fundraiser and charity concert were organized to raise funds, while some people made individual cash contributions.
