Ugandan legendary music duo singers Benon and Vamposs have promised to put up a powerful performance at 18th edition of Blankets and Wine Kampala.
Blankets and Wine’s Kampala 18th Edition is scheduled to take place this Sunday, 17th December 2017 at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.
“This will be our first time to perform at Blankets and Wine. The fans should expect a powerful performance, the Best of Benon and Vamposs,” singer Vamposs aka Vampino told this website.
The duo who dominated airwaves in the early 2000’s, are popular for their successful songs like “Mumulete”, “I know”, “Nsazewo”, and “My lady” among others.
In 2009, Vamposs opted for a solo career and rebranded as Vampino, as Benon concentrated on music production.
Vampino has had a successful solo career with songs like “Kwekunya kunya” ft. rapper Keko, Juliana Kanyomozi and Cinderella Sanyu, “I love you” with Radio and Weasel, “Love to dance”, “Lwaki Okaaba”, “Kyakala Dance”, “Linda”, “Smart Wire” and the recent “A Wah Do Dem” among others.
Benon and Vaposs will share the stage with Kenya’s popular boys band Sauti Sol, who are the headliners and other artistes including A Ka Dope Band Izaya & Friends, Bero, Mwiza, Eli Nihloxica and DJ Kampire.
The event will be hosted by RadioCity’s Miss Deedan.
