Young Rob is a hip-hop, R&B, Afro-beat recording artist from London. Rob was born in Accra Ghana but moved to the UK when he was 18 years-old and has been living here since.
At a young age, hanging out with older peers Rob got introduced to west coast hip-hop and it was then where he developed an interest in music.
He grew up Listening to a lot of 2pac, The Hot Boyz and The Lost Boyz just to name a few.
Music has always been an inspiration for Rob. His music career begun when he was introduced to a London based producer named “Ren The Producer”.
Ren Played a pivotal role in getting Young Rob’s career started.
Soon after Young Rob released his first mixtape titled “Versatility” After releasing the tape Rob Started making a name for himself by performing, networking and gradually a fan base.
In 2013 he released his second Project titled “Still @ It”.
In 2015 whiles working on his debut ep, Rob released his first afro-beat song Ghana Baby.
The song produced by Yann Gabriel which features French RnB artist Nabo received a lot of media support in Ghana. Rob has since then Released his debut ep “ELEVATION’ in 2017 and is back with his latest EP, SANKOFA.
SANKOFA, a word in the Twi language of Ghana that translates to “Go back and get it” (san – to return; ko – to go; fa – to fetch, to seek and take).
Rob goes back to his roots with SANKOFA.
His flare for creating catchy hooks that demands the listeners attention he brings that refreshing and feel good vibe with this EP. A blend of afro-beats , afro-swing and a bit of R&B.
Boasting of productions from Analytical Alz from Uganda, Mikemillzonem and Streetbeatz both from Ghana.

The song produced by Yann Gabriel featuring French Artist Nabo is a very uptempo song and a great opener to the ep.
The Song was inspired by a beautiful girl Young Rob met some time ago on his trip to Ghana.

Has that true African sound with a good vibe to it. Song produced by Ghanaian producer Street Beatz.
3). I Love You
Young Rob expresses his love for the African woman. The O.G.E beats and heaven boy produced track has that great African vibe and sound to it.
4). Saayoo
An afro-pop song produced by Mikemillzonem from Ghana. A smooth and catchy vibe and easy to sing along.
5). Gucci Heels
Gucci Heels is an Rnb inspired track produced by Alz Music (Analytical Alz) from Uganda. The catchy hook and beat makes this a club banger.
6). Slow whine
An afroswing track produced by British/Nigerian producer Mictizzle. This song is one that will get the ladies on the dance floor. Another catchy chorus and easy to sing long.
