22-Year-Old Quiin Abenakyo Crowned Miss Uganda 2018

Quiin Abenakyo was crowned Miss Uganda 2018 at the pageant’s Grand Finale held at Sheraton Hotel Kampala on Friday evening (August 10th 2018).

The 22-year-old hails from Mayuge District in Busoga region and is currently pursuing a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Computing at Makerere University Business School (MUBS).

She beat 22 other finalists from all corners of the country to take the crown.

Tyra Margach and Aheebwa Patience Martha were the first and second runners-up respectively.

Abenakyo takes over from Leah Kagasa (Miss Uganda 2016), who had the crown for 2 years as the pageant was not held in 2017.

The colourful event, which featured cross-border socialite Zari Hassan as a guest judge, was organized by Talent Africa and Kezzi Entertainment.
