Former Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura is set to appear before Court Martial tomorrow (Thursday 23rd August, 2018), Tower Post has learnt.
According to renowned journalist Andrew Mwenda, the former Police Chief will appear before court martial where he will be charged with neglect of duty and abuse of office. The Tower Post cannot independently verify the development though.
“I can confirm that former Inspector General of Police, Gen. Kale Kayihura, will appear before the court martial tomorrow on charges of neglect of duty and abuse of office,” Andrew Mwenda wrote on Twitter.

Kayihura has been in detention at Makindye Military Barracks since June this year when he was picked by military officials from his Lyantonde country home and flown to Kampala.
