Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, better known by his stage name Patoranking and Kenyan afro-pop band Sauti Sol are set to perform in Kampala this December, The Tower Post can confirm.
Patoranking and Sautisol will berform at a mega concert dubbed “Melanin Concert”, which will be held on Friday 21st December, 2018 at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
The concert, whose name is derived from Patoranking and Sauti Sol’s massive collaboration titled “Melanin”, is organized by Next Media’s recently launched urban radio station, Next Radio.
Patoranking confirmed in a video posted on Social Media that he will be returning to Kampala to perform at the December 21st concert.
In the video, he asks fans to grab their tickets and get ready for the concert, which is going to be “Crazy”.
This equally won’t be the first time for Sautisol to perform in Uganda. The band has performed at several concerts in Kampala in the recent years.
