The 2019 Ekkula Tourism Awards took place last Friday (March 29, 2019) at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel.
The awards, now in their fourth year, are aimed at recognizing and awarding key stakeholders in Uganda’s Tourism Industry.
This year’s edition of the awards ran under theme, “Sharing our cultural diversity through the digital transformation for bigger tourism numbers”.
The awards ceremony was graced by among others Deputy Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah, Tourism Minister Godfrey Kiwanda Ssubi and Uganda Tourism Board CEO Lilly Ajarova.
