Ida Nantaba, the State Minister for ICT has been asked by the Prime Minister  Ruhakana Rugunda to desist from peddling assassination claims through the media.

Rugunda had a rendezvous with Nantaba on Friday at his office in Kampala following the minister’s claims that some people close to the president she called, mafias, are plotting to kill her.

Rugunda assured the State Minister that the President is working on her matters.

It is reported that Rugunda has scheduled a meeting between Nantaba and some of those people she claims want to murder her.

Relatedly, the High Court in Kampala earlier issued a temporary injunction against Nantaba from making media utterances against her longtime political rival Moses Karangwa, Kayunga’s District Chairman.

Nantaba has been saying that there have been five attempts to kill her.
