Telecommunications company Africell Uganda has Monday launched a new commercial direction that will see the company grow and extend wings across the country.
Dubbed ‘New Chapter’, the strategy focuses on enhancing their priorities and customer experience by personalizing service and customizing offers.
The strategy, according to Africell officials also targets to increase the telecom’s commercial and social relevance by undertaking a new wave of new corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Speaking to the media at the Africell head office in Kampala, Africell founder Ziad Dalloul said; “As a digital company, Africell provides a link between yesterday and tomorrow. In Uganda, our network gives everyone the freedom to be and do what they want. Ugandans of all generations and from all walks of life can shine with powerful tools Africell offers. We listened to the young generation, and we are committed to helping them shape the best future possible.”
“Africell aligned this strategy with ‘Vision 2040’ of Uganda partnering with government and local communities by continuing to deliver outstanding service and technology help to realize the ICT aspirations built into Vision 2040.
“With a committed partner like Africell, the talented and hardworking people will have an opportunity to unlock their potential by providing professional tools and work experience opportunities like internships to give them skills required for future success.”
This program will run once a year and last from January to March and the successful applicants will be named in July.
