An eye for an eye. That’s the treatment President Museveni wants killers to receive. “I have a fight with courts, I will not tolerate people who kill others. Anybody who kills another will also be killed,”Museveni said during a ghetto youth meeting in Kampala on Saturday. 

Museveni said this after one person who identified as a boda boda cyclist complained to him that when their motorcycles are stolen, they do not receive help as suspects are released from jail as soon as they are arrested.

The President said it was unacceptable. He described Luzira as a ‘hotel’ where criminals go to be fed and grow fat. “Murders don’t deserve that kind of treatment,” he emphasized.

The President was meeting under their umbrella organisation, NRM Youth Camp, headquartered at Kibuye.
