Opposition big wig, Kizza Besigye has been arrested by police and taken to an unknown detention place. The former president of the Forum for Democratic Change party was earlier denied from leaving his home by the police. His gate was blocked by the men in uniform, but Besigye managed to escape without notice and he started walking to his office on Katonga Road. He was however intercepted on his way.

Besigye intended to hold his own Anti-corruption walk from his home to Katonga where he holds offices.
