Singer Clever J is now a staple in the news columns. The singer visited Jose Chameleone’s parents over the weekend to make up with the family after almost 15 years since he cut the connection.

Clever J who is a cousin to Chameleone was raised by the latter’s parents.

The Manzi Wa Nani singer was forced to drop on his knees for distancing himself from a family that raised him. “You did not even come for AK47’s funeral. What did we do to you? I don’t think I am ready to forgive you now,” Chameleone’s mother Proscovia Musoke said. She mentioned a number of reasons also citing an incident when Clever J refused to give her a lift when he had just bought a car.

Clever J also made peace with Chameleone weeks back. The two are expected to go to the studio together and do a song. Clever J, however, said in an interview that he prefers a music battle with Chameleone to a collabo. Chameleone trashed the idea and felt demeaned.
