President Yoweri Museveni has warned local traders against hiking prices of food in this period when the country is hit by the COVIS19 also known as the Corona virus.

Museveni was addressing the nation for the third time on Tuesday evening.

I want to warn those crooks who are hiking prices of food. If I find anybody hiking prices of food, I will cancel their license immediately,” he said.

The President said he is going to deploy spys amongst the members of the public to identify those who are selling food at high prices and punish them.
