President Museveni is interested in standing for Presidency again come 2021. Museveni has picked nominations forms for the positions of NRM chairman and flag bearer in the coming elections.

The nominations forms were picked by Museveni’s lawyers and personal assistant.

The NRM electoral commission chairman Tanga Odoi confirmed in a press conference that the President had picked forms. And that he had paid Shs 20 million, the amount set for those set to carry the flag.

It is not yet known whether there is anyone else who has picked forms to stand against Museveni.

In 2015, Amama Mbabazi tried to challenge Museveni but was frustrated until he left the party.
