Makerere University Sets Dates For Law Pre-Entry Exams, Strict Guidelines Put in Place

Makerere University has set dates for Bachelor of Laws pre-entry examinations for the 2020/2021 academic year.

According to a document released on September 14 from the academic registrar, Mr Alfred Masikye Namoah, the university will conduct the pre-entry exams on October 3 in Kampala.

“All candidates who applied for Bachelor of Laws pre-entry examination are hereby invited to come and sit for the said exams on the stated date. The exams shall commence at 9.00 am,” Mr Masikye said in the statement.

The University reiterates that the process will be done in observance with the Ministry of Health Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aimed at minimizing the spread of Covid-19.

Planned guidelines
1.Temperatures of all students will be taken before they access the exam room.

2. Candidates shall not be allowed to borrow items such as pencils,  rubber, ruler, and calculator from each other.

3. All windows will be opened.

4. Candidates will be seated two to four metres apart.

5. There will be mandatory wearing of face masks and sanitizers will be at the examination rooms.
