Dan Flavour Accuses Lydia Jazmine Of Betrayal Over Munyonyo House Deal

Ugandan singer Daniel Tumwesigye, widely known as Dan Flavour, has come out with claims of betrayal by fellow singer Lydia Jazmine and how it nearly sent him to depression.

In a YouTube interview, Dan Flavour revealed that the trouble with Lydia began after a failed rental agreement. Dan rented a house in Munyonyo to run an Airbnb business, and Lydia Jazmine was brought to him as a potential client.

After discussions, Jazmine agreed to pay 2.5 million shillings monthly and spent 24 million shillings upfront to cover rent for 8 months.

However, after moving in, Jazmine reportedly brought her family into the house and publicly claimed it as hers. Lydia Jazmine’s social media posts thanking God for her ‘new home’ caught the attention of the actual owner of the property, who lives in Norway.

The property owner then accused Dan Flavour of illegally selling his property and sent the police to investigate.

Dan Flavour says that when Lydia Jazmine found out about the investigation, she also filed a case against him at Katwe Police, accusing him of obtaining money by false pretense.

The singer says he hid in Entebbe because the police were out to arrest him. After some time away, he contacted some of his family members within the police force to help him resolve the case.
