Explosions Rock Joel Ssenyonyi’s Home as Campaign Pressure Intensifies

Several explosions were Tuesday morning heard near the home of National Unity Platform (NUP) spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi in Bukoto, Kampala.

Preliminary reports indicate that the explosions were heard by the neighbors at around 3:00Am in the morning.

The extent of the effects of the explosions remain unknown.

Contacted for a comment, Ssenyonyi who is also the NUP flag bearer in the Nakawa West Parliamentary race said they were still ttring to find out the cause.

“We are still trying to establish what it was. Please call me in 30 minutes,” he told The Tower Post on phone.

Efforts to get a comment from Police were futile as all publicists couldn’t pick up our calls.
