CONFIRMED: Marcus Kwikiriza Quits Nxt Radio Morning Show

Seasoned radio personality Marcus Kwikiriza has quit his job as the host of Nxt Radio’s morning show, The Morning Zoo.

This website has learnt that Kwikiriza will be doing his last show tomorrow – Friday February 19th.

“It’s true, I am leaving the Morning Zoo. Tomorrow, I will have my last show,” he said.

The news comes barely a week after The Tower Post broke the story that he would be leaving his position at Nxt Media in preparation for his next assignment as Vision Group Chief Executive Officer.

Kwikiriza who has worked in radio for over 20 years will be replacing Robert Kabushenga who recently announced that he would be taking an early retirement.

He however hasn’t divulged when he will be leaving his job as Nxt Radio’s General Manager or co-host of Another Round, a life style TV show.

Kwikiriza started his Radio career from Sanyu FM in 1998 where he hosted their Friday Night and Saturday night shows and later moved to Radio One where he hosted the midmorning show.

He has since worked for several radio stations in Kenya, Rwanda and a number of others in Uganda.

Also as part of his career in media, he hosted a basketball show on Zuku TV, hosted the Stanbic Schools Championship on NTV and his current show, Another Round.

Besides media, Kwikiriza is involved in other business like events management with Blackstar Events and is also a brand ambassador for Johnie Walker Reserve.
