Kansai Plascon has donated paint worth 14 million to Sanyu Babies home to assist the organization with their final works of their renovated structures.
The paint was handed over by Plascon officials on Saturday September 4th at an event held at Sanyu Babies Home premises on Albert Cook road in Kampala.
This is part of Kansai Plascon’s Corporate Social Responsibility – CSR activities where the company lends a hand to other organizations that are creating change in the country.
Sanyu Babies’ Home is a Christian based organization under the auspices of the Church of Uganda (Anglican), Namirembe Diocese; taking care of abandoned children.
The organization takes care of babies and children deprived of parental love and reintegrates them into the community through reuniting them with their families, fostering or adoption.
Currently, Sanyu Babies’ Home is taking care of over 50 babies and toddlers aged between 1 day old and 4 years.
Most of the children under their care are found abandoned in garbage heaps, pit latrines, diches, taxi parks or are left by the side of the road.
