Police in Kampala has recovered an assortment of bomb making materials from a suspect’s residence in Nabweru, The Tower Post reports.
This was revealed by the Police spokesperson CP Fred Enanga during the force’s weekly press briefing on Monday at the Police Head Quarters in Naguru.
Enanga revealed that among the equipment recovered was a sack of capacitors, 21 AK-47 rounds of ammunition, two bomb vests and other electric gadgets.
The development comes as security heightens search and investigations into the recent bombings that rocked Kampala killing four people and injuring scores.
Police is yet to disclose the name of the suspect from whose place the material was discovered.
