Uganda Premier League champions Vipers have confirmed concluding their transfer window ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The Venoms announced the addition of Congolese Youngster Rodrigue Shamamba as their final signing.
Shamamba, 18, joins the Venoms on a four-year deal from DRC side Goal Academy.
He is a striker and will hope to garner playing time against already established forwards like Yunus Sentamu and new signing Cromwell Rwothomio.
“I am happy to be joining Vipers SC, it’s one of the best clubs in the region and I hope to help the team achieve its goals,” he told Vipers SC media.
“I’m an attacker and I will work hard to use my individual qualities to help the team go forward.
“I want to help the club and myself win trophies by putting in hard work and competing against all the quality players here,” the ambitious youngster added.
Alfred Macumu Mudekereza and Olivier Osomba are the other Congolese players to join Vipers in this transfer window, for a side that also lost Congolese-born Cesar Manzoki.
The other new signings are Isa Mubiru, Ashraf Mandela, Murushid Juuko, Marvin Joseph Youngman, Abdu Lumala, Lawal and Cromwell Rwothomio, taking the tally to 10.
