A decade ago, when A Pass was still an emerging artist, he landed a collaboration with the celebrated duo Radio & Weasel—an opportunity that would help solidify his place in the industry.

Initially, the plan was to feature the duo on his song “Tuli Kubigere”, but according to Weasel, A Pass felt a deep personal connection to the track and decided to keep it as a solo project.

As a result, they settled on recording “Nuh Normal”, a song that went on to dominate the airwaves with its catchy melodies and lyrical depth.

Reflecting on the collaboration ahead of A Pass’ highly anticipated concert at Serena Hotel Kampala, Weasel revealed an interesting behind-the-scenes moment.

“Did you know our collab with A Pass was originally supposed to be on ‘Tuli Kubigere’? But the song was so personal to his journey that we convinced him to own it solo. Instead, we jumped on ‘Nuh Normal’—on the same day we also recorded ‘Maze Okwetegereza’ with Maro!”

The revelation adds an exciting backstory to the hit song, making it a memorable highlight in A Pass’ career.
