Singer Eddy Kenzo is the talk on social media following a nasty blow that happened yesterday (Tuesday, 11th March, 2025) in Kawempe where President Museveni was present campaigning for the NRM candidate Faridah Nambi.
The embarrassment came when Eddy Kenzo was told first to pause so that the National Anthem is played and let the NRM party President Museveni talk before he leaves.
Eddy Kenzo who is now the presidential advisor to the office of the president said, “ I want recognize President Museveni’s presence and thanked him for appointing Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja, citing her as having elevated the lives of ghetto residents.”
He also added saying that he wanted to perform for the president because getting him is not easy.

In a video making rounds on social media, Eddy Kenzo could be seen pushing a security team member who requesting him to vacate the podium, prompting bystanders’ intervention to restore peace.
