For the second time in just less than a week, opposition MPs have interrupted business in Parliament making speaker Rebecca Kadaga adjourn the house to Wednesday.
Immediately Igara West MP Raphael Maggyezi’s motion came up for discussion, opposition MPs rose up and sang the national anthem, making it difficult for business.
Kadaga’s pleas for order fell on deaf ears.
And when she announced “House adjourned to tomorrow [Tuesday] at 2:00pm”, the MPs celebrated.
Last week, deputy speaker Jacob Oulanyah adjourned the house after opposition MPs heckled him after hours of chaos in the city over the controversial age limit motion.
