VIDEO: Bobi Wine Releases New Political Song, “Freedom”

Popular Ugandan musician and Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu better known by his stage name Bobi Wine has released a brand new music video titled “Freedom”.

“Freedom” is an Afro-beat political song in which the Fire Base Entertainment singer addresses the ongoing controversial Age limit bill moved by Igara West MP Raphael Magyezi.

The bill seeks to delete the upper age limit in article 102b to allow one to stand for reelection beyond the age of 75.

“I was inspired to sing about the current situation in our motherland,” Bobi Wine says about the song.

In the video, the singer is seen locked up in a prison cell, while other scenes show him and his supporters wearing red “Togikwatako” ribbons.
