Popular female Ugandan singer Winnie Nwagi has broken up with her boyfriend, also singer Valentino Rukundoye Joshua alias Generale Czar’bu, The Tower Post has learnt.

The Swangz Avenue singer is said to have ended her relationship with her longtime boyfriend after he beat her to pulp.

According to a source close to the couple, Generale Czar’bu has been physically assaulting Winnie Nwagi for some time now.

Leaked screenshots of Winnie Nwagi’s snapchat indicate that Generale Czar’bu has been a quiet but violent man.

“It’s been a miserable relationship. Relieved from it now…Thank God,” Winnie Nwagi posted on Snapchat.

The “Musawo” hitmaker also revealed in another post that Generale Czar’bu was broke and never paid home bills, adding that her friends never liked him in the first place.

Winnie Nwagi also warns fellow women off reserved/silent men, who she says are dangerous.

Generale Czar’bu for starters is a rising reggae singer songwriter, guitarist, percussionist and vocalist.

In a recent interview, Czar’bu revealed that he met Nwagi at the Coca Cola Rated Next Season 2 competition, where they were both participants, adding that they have been dating for the last four years.

Czar’bu in the same interview revealed that he is not bothered by the men that are always hitting on Winnie Nwagi.

“What is meant to be will be so I never worry about other men, we have a very deep connection,” he was quoted saying.

However, this website understands that he has been physically assaulting her because of insecurity.
