In a bid to appreciate and give back to Ugandans for the support that they have given throughout the year, Coca-Cola embarked on an initiative to spread the joy of Christmas with individuals and communities in Kampala and surrounding areas.
The initiative that lasted 7 days saw brightly-lit Coca-Cola caravans make stop overs in different town centers within Kampala and as far as Kyengera, Namasuba and Gayaza, surprising the unsuspecting residents with foodstuffs, shopping vouchers and entertaining them with Christmas Carols sang by the choir.
Commenting about the initiative, Ms. Miriam Limo, the Coca-Cola Uganda Brand Manager said, “Our consumers work hard to ensure that they can adequately cater to their personal and families’ needs during this season. As Coca-Cola Uganda, we decided to give back to them by contributing to this responsibility.”
This initiative comes just a few days after the Beverages giant launches an Under The Crown promotion that will see hundreds of consumers win instant airtime and cash prizes by simply purchasing a Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Krest, Stoney and Schweppes Novida glass bottle and checking under the crown.
