Police fire and rescue team are searching for a lorry that plunged into River Nile on Tuesday evening.
The Fuso lorry reg no UAS 994Y heavily loaded with logs of wood lost control at Karuma Bridge and plunged into the River Nile after going past the metal rails.
Two occupants are feared dead.
Eye witnesses say there were three people in the lorry but one managed to get out alive before it was swept away by the water.
This becomes the second Accident on Kampala Gulu high way in just less than 24 hours, bringing the number of accidents that have occurred on same high way to about six in less than two weeks.
The most fatal accident which involved Gaagaa Bus, killed about 20 people and left many injured.
By publication time, the lorry was still missing.
