It is a moment of grief and sadness in the family of Nigerian musician Ag Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, known by his stage name D’banj and his wife Lineo Kilgrow following the loss of their one-year-old son, Daniel Oyebanjo III.

D’banj’s son reportedly drowned in the swimming pool a pool at his residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The singer, who was in the USA attending the 2018 BET Awards at the time of his son’s death, took to Instagram, where he wrote, “Trying Times. But my God is Always and Forever Faithful.”

The family celebrated the first birthday of their son, in May this year.

Several celebrities from within and outside Nigeria have sent out their condolence messages to D’banj and his family.
