Police in Kiboko have taken to court a Pakistani national over allegations of defilement.
Abdul Majid, a male adult aged 25 years and a Pharmacist by profession reportedly defiled his house maid aged 15 and impregnated her.
The incident happened at his home at Gaga cell, Upper ward, Koboko Municipality and was reported to Police by one Adaba Bran, the LC II Chairman of Anyokonga Parish, Abuku Sub County, Koboko district last weekend.
Being an orphan who dropped out of school, the victim had gone to work in the home of the suspect as a maid to earn a living.
According to the victim, the suspect fell in love with her and ended up impregnating her.
Her relatives became concerned when they saw her pregnant and then reported to Police for further management.
The suspect appeared in court on Friday and was remanded to Bukutu Government Prisons in Koboko.
